Welcome to the website of Whitchurch-on-Thames

What else is new
  • Whitchurch residents are invited to take part in the Pangbourne Summer Family Quiz.
  • The boarded-up Eastfield House care home was visited by “urban explorers” again this evening (30th July).  A security alarm went off and several neighbours scared off two men, who fled on mopeds.  A police dog unit attended.
  • Whitchurch’s Modern Artists Gallery has come out of lockdown and re-opened with an exhibition by a Scottish painter.  The gallery can be visited by appointment – phone 0118 984 5893.
  • The latest fascinating Nature Note is about the various kinds of deer that can be seen around Whitchurch.  For gardeners they may be a mixed blessing. Click on Nature Notes in the menu.
  • The Henley Standard has published interviews with the winners of this year’s Whitchurch Award, Sally and Pete Woolhouse, with retired racing driver David Brodie, and with our new vicar Rev James Leach.
